At Bigelow Tea we never miss out on an indulgence. National White Chocolate Day, on Sunday September 22, won’t be any different. In fact, this is one of our favorite days of the year! With the kids back at school, it’s the perfect day to pamper yourself with this dreamy white decadent dessert all through the day!
You might first want to make yourself some White Chocolate Obsession Tea in the morning … because who wouldn’t want to give their routine a rev with white chocolate tea?! Then, whip up some White Chocolate Pound Cake as a treat for when the kids get home. And finally, just for adults, we’re sharing our White Chocolate Obsession Mar-tea-ni. Yep, we are now in white chocolate tea heaven!
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
4 eggs
2½ cups self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup Bigelow White Chocolate Obsession Tea, brewed and cooled

Grease and flour 9x5x3 inch baking pan. Combine butter, eggs, sugar and brewed tea. Add flour and mix thoroughly.
Turn batter into pan and bake for one hour at 325˚F. Cool 15 minutes before turning cake onto a wire rack.
Bigelow® White Chocolate Obsession Mar-TEA-ni
Ingredients:
4 Bigelow® White Chocolate Obsession Tea Bags
1 ¼ cups boling water
1 tablespoon sugar
4 ounces vanilla vodka
Yield: Serves 4
Instructions:
Chocolate lovers and martini drinkers unite! This special cocktail is flavored with White Chocolate Obsession, one of Bigelow’s newest tea creations. Vanilla vodka gives it extra punch.
Place tea bags into a measuring cup and add 1 ¼ cups boiling water. Let brew for 3 minutes. Remove tea bags.
Add sugar and stir until it dissolves. Chill.
To make a martini, take two ounces of the cooled sweet tea, one ounce of the vanilla vodka and mix it in a shaker. Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass.
